Abstract

The book Climate Restoration: The Only Future That Will Sustain the Human Race argues that climate restoration, returning atmospheric CO₂ levels to pre-industrial levels, is an urgent necessity to ensure a livable future for humanity. Net zero emissions, the current goal of most countries, are not enough to reverse the damage already done to the climate. Current CO₂ levels have already triggered irreversible changes, so simply balancing future emissions will not be enough. Climate restoration is technologically feasible and economically viable.
